For residential villas, hotel fit-outs, government buildings, schools and apartment projects across the Gulf region, interior doors face severe challenges from high temperature, humidity, salt air, mould and termites. Traditional MDF, plywood and solid wood doors often swell, warp, delaminate or rot within just a few years, triggering high after-sales cost and project complaints.
Our one-piece extruded hollow WPC door provides a stable, long-life alternative for interior finishing. Different from assembled composite doors filled with grid or honeycomb paper, the door leaf is formed by single continuous extrusion, fully hollow integrated structure with NO grid core. There is no glued joint inside, which eliminates the weakest point where moisture seeps in and causes deformation.
MDF and plywood doors absorb moisture easily. Once exposed to humid air or coastal salt mist, the substrate swells, the surface film bubbles, edges warp, mould grows, and termites may attack. For many GCC projects, their usable life is commonly only 2–4 years.
Solid timber doors have natural texture but require constant painting and maintenance. Under large temperature swings, cracking and warping are unavoidable.
In contrast, monoblock hollow WPC material is non-absorbent, mould-proof, termite-resistant and dimensionally stable. It keeps flat surface and stable shape year after year, with minimal maintenance. The expected service life can reach 15 years and above under normal indoor use.
